Everyone, it seems, has had a nose job and some other work on their face done in hollywood. Even the ones I really respect (Ms. Winslet for example) who are known for the work they do instead of how they look. Makes you wonder. Must one get some work done to do well? It’s obvious that many of these stars who got the work done at the beginning of or before their career definitely boosted their careers by doing so….they probably must’ve booked more jobs from it…which eventually led to them being uber successful. Maybe the difference between being able to become a star in hollywood is if you make a few minor changes here and there to your appearance, so that you can be one step ahead of the game of every other averagely attractive girl or guy trying to make it in the film and tv world. It’s so sad. I honestly don’t know how I feel about it. One side of me doesn’t give a shit and thinks that half of the surgeries that people got done did indeed make them look better. I mean as long as it’s not super drastic and they still look like them-self except a little refined, who cares right? But the other side of me really mourns that we can only admire artificial beauty.
What about you? How do you feel about this?
