i love this quote. i still have yet to see this movie. but i think it’s more than just talent that is beauty…it’s loving what you can do with the talent you have and doing whatever you do with as much conviction and guts that you’ve got. the people i’ve met that i will always remember best are the ones who are deeply involved with and excited by whatever it is that they do—teachers, doctors, performers, engineers (aka my daddy :] ).
back to barbara…she’s a GOD. as much as i loved lea michele’s rendition of rain on my parade, it was not even half of barbara’s….it’s just that the song was written for barbara. it just didn’t fit lea’s voice…i still enjoy listening to it, however. :]
